Wyoming Federal Courts – Hours, Locations, Phone Numbers
The United States District of Wyoming has jurisdiction for the entire states of Wyoming, as well as parts of Yellowstone National park which are located in Idaho and Montana. The district of Wyoming is the only Federal Court district that has portions under its jurisdiction that are located in more than a single state. The Wyoming federal courts have locations in Casper and Cheyenne.
Appeals from the Wyoming federal courts are heard by the U.S. Court of Appeals for Tenth Circuit. Patent claims and claims against the U.S. government do not fall under this; they are taken to the Federal Circuit. The U.S. attorney represents all criminal and civil litigation cases in court.
