- James A. McClure Federal Building and U.S Courthouse in Boise

You can visit the clerk’s office at either of the aforementioned federal courts and request the case or docket information you require. Making the request in writing is necessary. Also, you can access paper files, documents, and dockets on the clerk’s computer free of charge. For some people, requesting Idaho Federal Court in person is inconvenient. Keeping this in mind, the federal judiciary offers an online PACER system.
What is the PACER system? PACER is an internet based public access service which provides users with case and docket information. Through this system, you can view and download the Idaho Federal Court information you need including orders, exhibits, pleadings, and transcripts. Using this system, you can search multiple courts at the same time. Furthermore, you can download a hyperlinked document. Although PACER is a convenient way to obtain court information, there are some limitations to it.
First and foremost, searches are somewhat limited in the online PACER system i.e. you don’t get the full case text. Secondly, the system covers post 1980’s cases. If you require Idaho Federal Court information related to cases prior to that time then you’ll need to contact the court’s clerk’s office in person and ask for help.
Obtaining Federal Court Hawaii information isn’t difficult by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, it’s one of the easiest things to do. However, you must know the right ways of obtaining Idaho Federal Court information and decide which way is better for you: online or in person.
